Biography
Home grown from the big town of Bee Branch, Arkansas, I am a recent high school graduate from South Side Bee Branch High School. In school, I was always involved in as many clubs/organizations as possible.
The clubs I was most involved in was FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes), Senior Beta, THUGS (Teens Having United Goals), Student Council, and of course FFA.
I played basketball every year since the 4th grade and was on the baseball team until my freshman year.
My parents are Lonnie and Ginger Duncan and I have one sibling, Mason Duncan. We currently preside in Rabbit Ridge, Arkansas where my family owns approximately 380 acres, 210 of which has been a part of my family’s history for four generations!
It wouldn’t surprise me if you’ve seen me around the different fairs/livestock shows over the past few years as I exhibited pigs for about 8 years and then showed lambs for 2. If there is anything that I will miss from school, it will be showing livestock! It was such a huge part of my life for such a long time, it’s going to be so strange not having any animals over the course of this year! I would love to show this year, but I’m pretty sure Arkansas Tech wouldn’t allow show pigs/lambs on campus!
I move in at Arkansas Tech on August 18th, and my classes will begin on the 22nd. I’m majoring in AgBusiness and my minor will be in Education, if I can end up with a career in the Agriculture field I’ll be happy.
This is just a little bit about me and where I come from, and I look forward to spending the next year getting to know you!
