  Mountain Home FFA Toy Drive
By: Mountain Home FFA Advisor Josh Baker
Friday, December 21, 2012

This December, the Mountain Home FFA chapter has focused primarily on community service. The 2nd annual FFA Toy drive was a huge success, raising more than 1,000 items that were distributed to local schools, family housing shelters and to identified families in need.

In conjunction with the Toy drive, FFA members packaged more than 100 christmas dinners which included non-perishable ingredients and a gift voucher to a local store to pick up a ham steak.

To continue the focus on community service, students helped the elderly purchase more than 100 items that were donated to “Santa for Seniors.” Additionally, on December 18th, 15 FFA members and parents worked at Elm Croft Living Center to wrap hundreds of christmas gifts that will be delivered to seniors.
